What exactly will you check?+
We document what is visibly happening on your site: stage of construction, visible progress against what you were told, materials present on site, workmanship visible to the eye, site activity and anything that looks like a concern. You can also give us specific verification points before the visit.
Are your reports independent?+
Yes. TaskBuddys is paid by you, not your contractor. Neither your contractor nor your relatives edit, approve or filter the report.
Can my contractor be present?+
Yes, and in many cases it is helpful, it allows them to explain progress on record. You decide.
Can I join by WhatsApp video?+
Live video inspection is available as an add on, subject to network coverage at the site.
Can you visit without telling my contractor?+
Where access permits and it is lawful and safe to do so, an unannounced visit can be arranged. Some sites are gated or require a site contact.
How quickly can you visit?+
Standard requests are scheduled according to location and availability. Priority and emergency visits may be available. You receive your report within 5 working days of the visit.
Can you inspect land?+
Yes. Land verification support and pre purchase visits are available.
Can you verify materials?+
We can document materials visibly present on site and verify purchases and deliveries as an add on service.
Can you supervise the entire project?+
Continuous oversight is provided through Project Safeguard Membership, from monthly to weekly monitoring.
Are you structural engineers?+
No. TaskBuddys provides independent observational monitoring and evidence. Structural engineering inspection is arranged only where a qualified professional is specifically engaged for your project.
What happens if you discover a serious problem?+
It is flagged as Red in your report with photographic references, the clarifications required from your contractor and a recommended next action.
Can you help me find another contractor?+
We can carry out contractor verification. Introductions are handled separately and are never tied to your report findings.
Can you purchase materials for me?+
Material purchase verification is available. Direct purchasing is arranged case by case under clear written instruction.
Can you monitor renovations?+
Yes. Renovation monitoring is one of our most requested services.
